Outer Harbour and Islington to Tarcoola, 25t Axle Load

The following Axle Load and associated speed changes will apply within the Islington to Tarcoola and Outer Harbour to Dry Creek Sections, in reference to the route access standard at the following address https://www.artc.com.au/customers/standards/route/access/

Route Access Standard Section Page D4 Mile End to Dry Creek to Outer Harbour, will be amended to include the information below.
The corridor between Islington South (33 Signal, 7.430km) to Dry Creek (11.81km) is now suitable for:
21 tonnes at 115 km per hour,
23 tonnes at 100 km per hour
AND
25 tonnes at 80 km per hour

The corridor between Outer Harbour (ARTC Operational Boundaries) and Dry Creek Triangle (0.00km and 11.81km points) is now suitable for:
25 tonnes at 60 km per hour

Route Access Standard Section Page D5 Dry Creek to Crystal Brook and D6 Crystal Brook to Spencer Junction, will be amended to include the information below.
The corridor between Dry Creek and Spencer Junction is now suitable for:
21 tonnes at 115 km per hour,
23 tonnes at 100 km per hour
AND
25 tonnes at 80 km per hour

Route Access Standard Section Page D7 Spencer Junction to Parkeston, will be amended to include the information below.
The corridor between Spencer Junction (54 Signal, 95.8km) to Tarcoola (24 Signal, 505.624km); and
Northgate Block Point (510.850km on the line to Alice Springs) is now suitable for:
21 tonnes at 115 km per hour,
23 tonnes at 100 km per hour
AND
25 tonnes at 80 km per hour

Wagon configuration for 25t operation must be in accordance with the Route Access Standard General Information document. https://www.artc.com.au/customers/standards/route/access/
All other lines, sidings, etc. must be checked before operating at the higher axle loads.
