Updated Port of Melbourne Operating Procedures

Commencing 0001hrs Monday 15 September 2025, amendments to the following operating procedure will come into effect for the Port of Melbourne precinct:
# SECTION 8: Appleton Dock - PoM Wharf
Key changes are:
# The Appleton Dock Wharf Siding will be closed for maintenance work activities
# Delineation will be erected 48 metres from Appleton Dock Road Level Crossing, the delineation will consist of a concrete Jersey Barrier with a reflectorised STOP sign on it
# Shunt neck will be available up to the delineation
# Update to diagram to reflect changes
Copies of the ‘Operating Procedures for the Port of Melbourne Precinct’ have been sent to affected rail operator’ representatives.
