New ARTC Standardised Notice Template
Commencing from 15 October 2022, ARTC will be introducing a new standardised Operational Notice form that captures standard requirements for the different operational notice types.
The new form starts the approval process for the following Operational Notice types: - SAFE Notices (NSW/QLD) - Train Notices (VIC/SA/WA) - Route Access Condition Notices (National) - Train Operating Conditions (TOC) Waivers (NSW)
When ARTC starts using the new forms:
- In NSW, SAFE Notices, Route Access Condition Notices, Train Operating Conditions (TOC) Waivers, will be published, through the ARTC Website, in the new format with the existing format withdrawn and no longer used.
- In other states, Train Notices, will still be published through WebRAMS
- National information will be presented through both methods.
Operational Notices will still identify the Notice type (i.e. SAFE Notice, etc.) and will be presented with the same information as previously, only using the new format.
Operational Notices will still be accessed through current locations: - ARTC Website: Notices, Waivers and Alerts, and WebRAMS.
The process to request, review and approve Notices has not changed, only the introduction of a new form.
This change supports ARTC’s move to standardising our systems and processes to improve accessibility, readability, and useability of information.
