ARTC NEW SAFEWORKING PADLOCKS
Commencing 18/11/2025, new ARTC RED SAFEWORKING PADLOCKS will be progressively applied to point machines, level crossing test switch boxes, cabinets accessible by Train Crews and OSL / Ground frames replacing the previously installed V5PSW padlocks that are no longer supported by the supplier.
The existing key switch arrangements for Emergency Operation of departure signals, the holding of Automatic Signals at STOP and point release key switches are unchanged until as advertised later.
Rail Traffic crews and safe workers are advised to keep hold of their V5PSW keys, if they have them, to cover the equipment mentioned in the paragraph above.
