Signal Compatibility testing has been completed with the V/LINE VLocity sets and ARTC has issued a certificate to travel under signal indication with the following restrictions.
Travel is restricted to 80km/h between Southern Cross Station and Seymour Loop (DYN126 to Seymour SEY106).
Testing is to be undertaken between Seymour and Benalla under the cover of an Absolute Occupation as advertised in a separate Train Notice.
Travel between Seymour Loop and Benalla is permitted at line speed on the East Track Only subject to adhering to a 60km/h speed at the locations listed below.
- 102.000 to 102.200 km (long twist)
- 114.600 to 115.200 km (twist)
- 150.800 to 151.200 km (twist/line)
- 163.500 to 164.200 km (gauge/new crossovers)
- 194.200 to 194.800 km (gauge)
To enable testing to be undertaken, V/Line is to travel the VLocity train from South Dynon to Seymour and move daily between the stabling location and the Absolute Occupation.
The train will depart South Dynon Yard as advertised in a separate Train Notice.
