Standing Notice 2885 dated 27/11/2020 is AMENDED (*Decreased Maximum Temperature Allowance) and REISSUED as below:

BENALLA - OAKLANDS
BENALLA - OAKLANDS LINE RESTRICTIONS
To be read in conjunction with Standing Train Notice 2007 / 2020.
Commencing forthwith and until further notice the following restrictions apply for the movement of trains on the Benalla - Oaklands corridor.
All EMPTY rail movements are restricted to a maximum speed of 50 KM/H in either direction unless a lower Temporary Speed Restriction has been applied.
All LOADED rail movements are restricted to a maximum speed of 30 KM/H in either direction unless a lower Temporary Speed Restriction has been applied.
(*) Rail movements will not be permitted to run on the Oaklands line between 1200hrs and 2000hrs when the forecast (Yarrawonga BOM) air temperature is 36°C or above.
The Work Group Leader or on call person will notify Network Control through verbal communication and email at the earliest opportunity.
Rail operators are to provide advice to ARTC as early as possible to ensure that path requests can be processed within an appropriate timeframe.
