BENALLA - OAKLANDS LINE RESTRICTIONS
To be read in conjunction with Standing Train Notice 1870/2021, Empty and Loaded Train movements and Standing Train Notice 458/2015 Infrequent Rail Traffic Operations Benalla - Oaklands Corridor, Active Level Crossing Requirements.
Commencing forthwith and until further notice the following restrictions apply for the movement of trains on the Benalla - Oaklands corridor.
All EMPTY rail movements are restricted to a maximum speed of 30 KM/H in either direction unless a lower Temporary Speed Restriction has been applied.
All LOADED rail movements are restricted to a maximum speed of 30 KM/H in either direction unless a lower Temporary Speed Restriction has been applied.
Rail movements will not be permitted to run on the Oaklands line between 1200hrs and 2000hrs when the forecast (Yarrawonga BOM) air temperature is 32°C or above.
The Work Group Leader or on call person will notify Network Control through verbal communication and email at the earliest opportunity. Rail operators are to provide advice to ARTC as early as possible to ensure that path requests can be processed within an appropriate timeframe.
