ARTC INFRASTRUCTURE ALTERATIONS MILE END TO ISLINGTON
Effective Monday 18/12/2023 the following active Pedestrian Crossings have been commissioned by the Gawler Rail Electrification Project.
Installation works have previously been advertised in Daily Train Notice numbers 3042/2023 and 3045/2023.
ACTIVE PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS ------------------------------------------- - P17 - Parklands Pedestrian Crossing (3.367km) (operated by axle counters) - P27 - North Adelaide Pedestrian Crossing (3.855km) (operated by axle counters) Axle Counter Head Control will also be installed on - P17, P27 and P48 Ped Crossings.
Hi-Rails and vehicles with 3 or less wheels will be ignored by the Ped X Axle Counters when travelling between Mile End and Islington.
SIGNAL ALTERATIONS ---------------------------- Nil
Train crews are advised to remain vigilant and report any anomalies to the Network Controller.
