Phoenix Train Order Territory
Worksite Protection requirements for Track Occupancy Authorities
Commencing immediately and until further notice, the requirements for protecting a worksite as detailed in this Standing Train Notice within a Track Occupancy Authority in Phoenix Train Order Territories applies.
Phoenix Train Order territories are:
- Benalla (exclusive) to Oaklands (inclusive)
In exception to the Addendum Phoenix Electronic Train Order System TA20 - Code of Practice for Victorian Main Line Operations Rule 7 Track Occupancy Authority and Rule 8, Using a Track Occupancy Authority, each worksite must be protected by:
- three railway track signals and a red flag/red light, at least 500m on each side of the worksite, or at the limits of the Authority, or
- STOP sign/red light, at least 500m on each side of the worksite, or at the limits of the Authority.
Safeworking Arrangements
The work must be carried out as per the appropriate ARTC Network Rules and Procedures
