Track and Signal Infrastructure Alterations - Wangaratta:
The old East Track ‘Dive’ alignment incorporating Platform 2 Wangaratta will be removed from service, decommissioned, and subsequently removed.
Monday 11/03/2024 - at 1800hrs or as advised.
A new East Track alignment will be commissioned into service that will incorporate the existing Platform 1 at Wangaratta. East Track Banner Indicator WRT/6BI will be relocated and commissioned in a new location at 233.850km.
Wednesday 13/03/2024 - at 2359 hrs or as advised.
A new West Track alignment will be commissioned into service adjacent the new East Track. The new West Track alignment will not have an operational platform at the time of this change.
West Track Banner Indicator WRT/26BI will be relocated and commissioned in a new location at 233.850km.
All associated trackside signage will be relocated to the respective track in line with the above timing.
Signal Indications are unchanged as part of this work. Locations of Absolute Signals and points are unchanged as part of this work.
