SOMERTON LOOP TO ALBURY
ALBURY RELOCATION OF SAFEWORKING BOUNDARY
On Wednesday 27/03/2024 between 0600hrs and 1600hrs, ARTC will amend the ARTC Network Safeworking Rules and Procedures boundary at Albury as detailed below.
The ARTC Network Rules and Procedures (NSW) and TA20 - ARTC Code of Practice for the Victorian Main Line Network safeworking rules boundary and associated signage will be relocated at Albury.
The ARTC NSW Network Rules and Procedures will apply from AY61, AY62 and AY63 signals at Albury towards Sydney.
ARTC TA20 - ARTC Code of Practice for the Victorian Main Line Network Safeworking Rules and Procedures apply from AY61, AY62 and AY63 signals and on the Back Platform Road, Engine Road and Shunt Neck at Albury towards Melbourne.
TA20 - ARTC Code of Practice for the Victorian Main Line Network safeworking rules apply on the Back Platform Road, Engine Road and Shunt Neck at Albury.
Existing ‘END VIC CTC’ signage located on Signals WOD6 and WOD18 at Wodonga (301.696km) will be removed.
Existing ‘START VIC CTC’ signage located on Signal AY58 (302.833km) at Albury will be removed.
Existing ‘END 3 POSITION SIGNALLING, START SINGLE COLOUR LIGHT SIGNALLING (MAIN LINE) (646.627km) at Albury will be removed.
Existing ‘START 3 POSITION SIGNALLING, END SINGLE COLOUR LIGHT SIGNALLING sign (646.148km) at Albury will be removed.
New signage will be located at Albury, reading as follows: -
New signage will be located adjacent to Signals AY61, AY62 and AY63 at Albury (646.558km).
TOWARDS MELBOURNE: -
Sign 1 - END NSW RVD, START VIC CTC
Sign 2 - END YARD LIMIT SIGN (EYL)
TOWARDS SYDNEY: -
Sign 1 - END VIC CTC, BEGIN NSW RVD
Sign 2 - YARD LIMIT SIGN (YL)
New signage will be located adjacent to Signals AY153 and AY154 at Albury (645.635km).
BEGIN SINGLE COLOUR LIGHT INDICATION
New signage will be located adjacent to Signal AY166 at Albury (644.467km).
Sign 1 - END YARD LIMIT SIGN (EYL)
Sign 2 - YARD LIMIT SIGN (YL)
Authorities required to pass a fixed signal at STOP during Signal failure.

Amendments to Network Information Book
Albury (inclusive) to Somerton Vic (inclusive) & Benalla (inclusive) to Oaklands (inclusive) OGW-30-30 will be updated as advertised in a separate Train Notice.
