SPENCER JUNCTION TO TARCOOLA
On Monday 20th of March, the GCP4000 was reprogrammed at Stuart Highway Level Crossing at Hesso (RLX0639) to permit the operation of Road Trains on the Stuart Highway up to 53.5m in length without the requirement for ‘Stop and Report’.
As part of the work, blanket speed signage has been installed / updated at the following locations on the approach to the level crossing.
80 km/hr blanket speed signs for westbound services located at 147.350 km in accordance with ARTC Addendum 32.2.
A single 100 km/hr permanent speed sign for eastbound services at the 147.350 km in accordance with ARTC CoP Rule 3.1.4, clause (k).
The 80 Km/hr blanket signs for eastbound services located at 159.100 km are unchanged.
Route Access Standard D7 Spencer Junction - Parkeston, Permanent Speed Restrictions, will be updated to capture the above change.
