STANDING NOTICE TN 777 ISSUED 03/04/2025 HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND RE-ISSUED AS BELOW:-
APPLIES TO THE FOLLOWING ROUTE: FOOTSCRAY TO SOUTH DYNON
As of the completion of works at Sims Street Junction the following Operational restrictions will apply.
ALL BROAD GAUGE Rail Traffic between North Dynon and West Footscray Junction MUST be routed via the MAIN LINE TRACK.
ALL BROAD GAUGE Rail Traffic between Port of Melbourne and West Footscray Junction MUST be routed via the LOCAL LINE TRACK.
147D points and 151U points will be temporarily straight railed with bridging applied. It will not be possible for Broad Gauge Rail Traffic to travel directly from the Local Line at Sims Street to North Dynon.
A Temporary Speed Restriction of 20km/h will apply for all Broad Gauge movements through Sims Street Junction.
- TSR 20km/h Warning Sign in the vicinity of Signal DYN/104, which will provide a Warning distance of approximately 260 metres - TSR 20km/h Caution Sign, which will be placed just past DYN/152 towards Sims Street, 200 metres from the temporary repair.
- TSR 20km/h Warning Signs at West Footscray Junction (WFS/42 and towards WFS/44), which will provide a minimum Warning distance of approximately 2,240 metres to the Caution Board from WFS/42. - TSR 20km/h Caution Sign, which will be placed at DYN/158 at Sims Street, 200 metres from the temporary repair.
