On the 14th April 2026 ARTC will publish the amended Network Information Book (NIB) for Cook Train Order to version 2.0.
The NIB is available on the ARTC website located at https://www.artc.com.au/customers/operations/nib/
Amendments to OGW-30-11 include:
- Applicable Rules updated in section 1.3
- Local Operating Equipment updated in section 1.5.1
- Train Braking Requirements updated in section 1.6
- Level Crossings table updated in section 1.7
- Takeoffs list updated in section 1.8
- Cook location text updated in section 2.14
- Mungala diagram and line diagram updated
Safeworking Arrangements:
Recipients must ensure this Notice is circulated to and understood by all personnel affected by, or needing to know, its content.
This Notice must be issued to all affected Competent Workers.
Competent Workers who receive this Notice must follow the requirements
